Looks like they couldn't get a European base for a training camp and they're going to LA (I think) instead... trying to line up a game against the US national team as well as a couple of matches against MLS sides.

Coolio. Any idea on the dates of the camp? Hope its after I'm back in LA! LA now has 2 MLS teams after Chivas (Regal ) USA were included in the league along with Real Salt Lake (STOOPID NAME!!!) I assume the Koreans could play 3 games at the Home Depot Centre or even a game in the Rose Bowl. That'd be good and probably bve guaranteed a big crowd too.

Right, Korea depart for LA on the 7th January and come back on the 28th.
As well as a game against the USA, I think they're lining up a friendly against a South American or Central American team - Mexico?

Someone on Big Soccer reckons the international friendly dates are:
16/01/05: Costa Rica 22/01/05: USA 26/01/05: Colombia
Obviously it's K-League only as the European sides probably won't let any of their players head off for a month
So that gives them a week to acclimatise, nip off to Universal Studios, and have tea with Hong Myung-bo before getting on with the football and then coming home.

That would be pretty cool. I imagine I COULD go to all the games if they are all in the HDC although whether I will WANT to is another question. Whether I can AFFORD to is question 3 Maybe they'll draft HMB back into the squad for a farewell?

Goalkeepers Lee Woon-jae (Suwon) Kim Young-kwang (Chunnam) Kim Yong-dae (Busan)
Defenders Choi Jin-cheol (Cheonbuk) Park Jae-hong (Cheonbuk) Park Dong-hyuk (Cheonbuk) Jo Byung-guk (Suwon) Kim Chi-kon (FC Seoul) Kim Jin-kyu (Chunnam)
Midfielders Kim Nam-il (Chunnam) Jung Kyung-ho (Gwangju) Kim Sang-sik (Gwangju) Kim Dong-jin (FC Seoul) Kim Doo-hyun (Suwon) Kim Jung-woo (Ulsan) Yoo Kyung-ryul (Ulsan) Park Kyu-sun (Cheonbuk)
Forwards Lee Dong-guk (Gwangju) Namkung Do (Cheonbuk) Kim Dong-hyun (Suwon) Choi Sung-guk (Ulsan) Park Ju-young (Korea University)

University strikers in the National team? There is apparently no K-League striker worth playing then?

University strikers in the National team? There is apparently no K-League striker worth playing then? Well when you're calling up a Suwon striker who's only started six times this season (although admittedly he's made 19 sub appearances) then you know you've got problems

Several Koreans now playing for European clubs never bothered with the K-League, going straight to Europe from their uni clubs. Cha Du-ri is one example, if I'm not mistaken.
Good on the gaffer for having confidence in some youth, and including alongside some of the older gits.

Yep, I think these are the game dates:
15th Jan: Colombia 18th Jan: Paraguay 22nd Jan: Sweden
I believe all games are being played at the Home Depot Centre and that's where they'll be doing their training on non-match days.

That's only two questions. Can I go? Do I want to go? Can I afford to go? Thats 3 questions! Although I suppose technically one was an answer but the question was implied.

Thanks for clearing that up. You know how I get confused so easily.
So who's playing in the K-League final this year guys?
