Cha Bum-keun's even less popular with Suwon fans now after releasing defender Kim Young-sun. He was 29 and had been at Suwon since 1998, played 144 games since then but hasn't featured at all this season under Cha. Binning him as well as shunting Popescu out on loan were not popular moves, judging by the reaction on the Grandbleu site... What on earth is he doing? ?

I reckon you guys should sign him on a locked up 10 year deal. He might be like Jo Gwang-rae. Nobody has the balls to tell the guy he's been getting balls results for too long and that he needs to look for another job.

Now he's got to try and tempt Kim Doo-hyun into staying with Suwon instead of switching to Kashima Reysol who appear to be interested in him...
In the past few months they've lost Cho Jae-jin, Christian (but he was useless anyway), Gabriel Popescu, Kim Young-sun and now potentially Kim Doo-hyun, and brought in the average Javier Martin Musa and Park Nam-yeol from Seongnam who has dropped into the reserves already (plus he's 34 and hardly one for the future).
Hmmmm...

From the little bit I saw of Kim Do Hyun he would be no great loss if he went. If they got decent money for him I'd take it.

Aye, but judging by that game last weekend then anyone leaving wouldn't be that much of a loss Here's the article that appeared in the Korea Times when Cha was appointed Suwon manager: times.hankooki.com/lpage/sports/200312/kt2003122316071111620.htm"Mediocre" is finishing 3rd in the league both times? Says a lot about the standard of the K-league...

You have not felt the pain of having LASK Linz as your home side....

You have not felt the pain of having LASK Linz as your home side.... Choi Sung-yong's Austrian side, if I'm not mistaken...?
