The big rumour doing the rounds is that naughty boy Sandro could be returning to Suwon from JEF United, as the Japanese side are looking at signing Gabriel Popescu and I think he's still contracted to Suwon. The clubs are apparently negotiating some sort of swap deal. Looks like Mr. Urumov is going to be completely frozen out this season

OH dear... but why is there any need for Sandro when there's already Nadson doing well?

OH dear... but why is there any need for Sandro when there's already Nadson doing well? Aside from Nadson there's no real other consistent goal threat in the Suwon side. Kim Dae-eui's good for 8~10 goals, and Kim Dong-hyun maybe the same. Marcel weighed in with a few last year too, but he's gone now. If Nadson picked up an injury then they could be in trouble...

I really hope Sandro doesn't come back:
1) Cos I really dont approve of having convicted criminals in any team I support and
2) Cos he was pretty ineffective everytime I saw him in Japan.

If they're going to bring someone back they should get Duda - 19 goals in Brazil last season

Just looking at the Brazilian scoring charts for the 2003 season...
Marcel hit 20, Mota 15, Nonato 11, Nadson 10 (in three months, before moving to Suwon).

You'd seriously have to question the quality of the league in Brazilian when that's all the case.
And Korea and Japan are pinching all the guys not good enough to crack the dollars in Europe.

Hmmm, no official announcement as yet by Suwon regarding Sandro, but the K-League website has updated the Suwon squad profiles with Sandro listed as number 9. Urumov has been removed from the list
