Spare a thought for East Stirlingshire... apparently their point against Albion Rovers yesterday ended a run of something like 31 consecutive away defeats

Aye... looks like the lack of someone to score goals is going to pose a bit of a problem. Aberdeen = Bucheon

Figured you guys would be happy about that one. Just thought there would be more fireworks. Perhaps a shrine.

What's happened to Dundee. My mom's from little place called Lochee. I remember United being a decent side way back but man it's been about 2 decades hasn't it? Don't know what Dundee (the city) is like really but the little that I have heard isn't promising - armpit of Scotland. That's about as bad as it gets I suppose.

Aye... but I think the 5-0 defeat by Rangers three days later kind of took the shine off things Ach well. As for Dundee... some would say that the best thing about it is the road up to Aberdeen Good for marmalade though. Dundee United had a great team back in the mid-1980s, back when decent players would spend their entire careers (or the best part of it) with non Old Firm sides - players like Eammon Bannon, Paul Sturrock, Maurice Malpas, Dave Narey and Paul Hegarty were fantastic players for both United and Scotland. They used to be a great producer of young Scottish talent too (Kevin Gallacher, Christian Dailly, Duncan Ferguson etc...) Then they got relegated in 1994/95 ( ) and have been crap ever since ;D

Aberdeen surge (well more like squirt) into 3rd place with a 2-1 win over Dunfermline!
And before anyone asks...yes Dunfermline is a place! It's in Scotland and they have a football team called Dunfermline Athletic.

I think it was one of the first or one of the biggest cantilever projects ever undertaken... something like that. I think Dunfermline is about 15 miles from Edinburgh, but it's not very interesting - the Dunfermline Building Society IS interesting, however

I think I had a great great grandfather or something who worked on it. It's significant to my family history for some reason. Might have to ask the old man. the rest of you can go back to sleep
