I saw Daegu do its damage against FC Seoul. They did their homework alright!!! FC Seoul is supposed to be a favorite for the title. They were the better team on the pitch, Jung Jo-guk looking very lively when he came on. Park Ju-young looked a pretty average player. That Portuguese bloke was just trying to be too fancy.

great to see 25,000 at the match. the 8 o'clock kick off should hopefully be a winning move. can't remember seoul ever getting that many midweek last season. long way to go yet. i'm off to seongnam at the w/e to see the boys get off the mark with the first win of the season. hopefully the seoul boys will take over the town with seongnam being so close.

Pretty much all the media hype for the games last night was built up around some wee university student making a subsitute appearance for FC Seoul... Apparently some Korean newspapers were speculating before the game that 50,000 people would have gone to Sangam to see Park Chu-young...

The TV news story today summed it up best. He was looking very, very averagae and even Bonfrere watched that match to see how this guy does with serious opposition. He said he's for the future but not right now. So I guess that'll shut a lot of people up for a while. Imagine this kid was dragged onto the national team with people expecting goals. Could have been a great prospect gone down the drain just like that. Bonfrere might be proving he's a much better manager than most people give him credit for.
