This might be of interest to you MinnesotaUlsan seeing as you have a Newcastle avatar... there's a Suwon fan called Jung Yoon-gu living/studying in Newcastle who regularly goes to EPL games and posts wee stories on the Grandbleu website in English ('cos he can't write in Korean on his computer or something)

Newcastle vs Arsenal in Newcastle
I went to the Jame's park yesterday to watch the match above, so i am gonna talk how i felt and so on...please someone rewrites in korean.
Newcastle United VS Arsenal
The match was going to kick-off at 8pm. I walked to the stadium at half past 6. The ambience outside of the stadium was not much different from korea except that I could see the mounted police ^^. The entrance to the stadium was an hour before kick off. the thing that made me surprised was that the seats were much closer to the ground than I expected, and it looked dead easy to get into the ground, although there were many security people, I thought...like...Shall I jump into the ground to be a hero??? in front of 50,000people?... I have heard that there is a fine and staying at a jail for a night for interrupting a match.(believe or not^^)
Ah...forgot to mention...when Arsenal arrived at the stadium, many newcastle supporters had been waiting there to shout ''Whoo...~~~!'' (Shall we also try to do it?) I know it to be impossible at Suwon because a bus passes through somewhere Not through fans...anyway the second thing that made me surpirsed was that there is no score board and clock in the stadium(Jun Kwang Pan)..I don't know why...time to kick off..Several thousand of ARsenal supporters started singing, it was really loud...Newcastle fans also started clapping and shouting. Honestly, it was much louder than world cup match korea against Portugal which I went....As you know, there was no supporting leader so it looked and sounded very natural and smooth.....
When the play was not going well, I could see some newcastle fans even swore at their team for example, ''What the f**k are you doing man!'' and so on...of course it might mean that they love their club so much. On the other hand, when the team was really playing well, they clapped hard and showed positive reaction. The fans' reaction to each playing was much bigger than Korea...at that time I could understand how Alphay(URAWA REDS) felt and why he left...if it is true that the main reason why he left is league ambience which is much different to World cup..anyway...There was no half time event ..hmm...and...there was also a funny thing like Chitos 500Won....I mean the way to tease an enemy. When Arsenal got a goal, one of newcastle fans shouted at Arsenal supporters
'' Chelsea is in the sky...Chelsea is in the Sky...^^V'' many people laughed out..I also did...the last thing that made me surprised that pretty many people left their seats before ending the match...(during extra time) as the match might be going on 0 : 1....Even though, newcastle lost, all fans cheered the team after the match. They seemed to believe Arsenal is too good to defeat...Maybe, it is true....and united did well....
When Arsenal players got out of the stadium, many people had been waiting to get autographs..The fans were strictly separated to players so players usually approached to the fans first....it was not like fans rush to a player to be signed...The players really looked professional, and I realised it might be not much difficult to get the autograph of a popular player like Henry...they were quite friendly to fans...Unfortunately, I did not have a piece of paper and a pen. I will go to the stadium when united has a match against Chelsea in order to get the autograph...
tell you what one thing....although I watched a big match...it was an unbelievable match to me...Newcastle VS Arsenal...it was like dream...how could i watch it...!...but i did not feel anything special ...I just felt like..I watched one of matches in the world..like K-league...
P.S
My English is too short to express all things that I felt...and...no photos...coz...I still have no money to buy a camera.....;;;;;
