Cooke agrees to Bradford switch BBC Sport Thursday, 23 December, 2004 news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/bradford_city/4122203.stmFormer Burnley striker Andy Cooke is to join Bradford City on 1 January. Cooke has agreed an 18-month deal but can not complete his move until the transfer window opens as he played for Buscan Icons in South Korea this year. The 30-year-old had been training with Burnley, where he spent five years prior to joining Stoke, but opted to accept a longer-term offer from City. "I'm dropping down a division but Bradford are an up-and-coming side," he told the Telegraph & Argus.

Andy Cooke has indeed signed for Bradford City, but did not register in time to play in Monday's away match at Port Vale.
Should be interesting to see if he reverts back to his "English" role of feeding key strikers, or if he continues his "Korean" role of scoring the goals himself.

I thought his Korean role was getting booked and/or sent off for being a moaning faced wee English b*****d!

Who put the haggis up yer arse, Steve-o? I remember back when Curo and Cookie joined last year... Busan was frequently misspelled as "Buscan"... any ideas why? education.yahoo.com/reference/dict_en_es/entry?lb=e&p=buscanApparently it means "to seek" in Spanish.... makes sense, as I'cons seem to be a bit of a club for journeymen.

It's official, although I didn't recall seeing any proper announcements.... are they ashamed of the guy? ;D www.bradfordcityfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Profiles/0,,10266~8424,00.html (You'll need membership with those bastard PTV websites in order to see the above link) It lists his past clubs as "Burnley, Stoke".... guess he's had a 20-month break from the game since Stoke, then.

Cookie scored Bardford City's first goal in a 2-2 tie at home against Torquay United.
