He's started three matches and made one sub appearance so far, scoring two goals for Academica Coimbra.
He got the winner in their 1-0 win over Nacional last weekend, and just yesterday he scored the only goal when they beat Gil Vicente.
They've moved off the bottom of the league and are now three points from safety with 12 games to go.

Really impressive, the quality that Marcel is showing over here. Absolutely decisive with two spectacular goals in two matches, earning six points for Académica. The rumours say that he was really hired by FC Porto, but choosing to place him in Coimbra untill the end of the season. It's a very common situation in Portugal, and the fact that the dragons have McCarthy, Fabiano and Postiga wouldn't leave much space for Marcel. But scoring like this, even FC Porto will have to take him into account next season. By the way, here's some pictures of the FC Seoul officials that saw the last Rio Ave match against Boavista: Don't forget to visit us at: rioave.weblog.com.pt

This can only be good news. The K-League can be seen as an effective spring board into Europe It means quality foreigners will come with SERIOUS ambitions and South Korean players excelling in the league will be taken a lot more seriously.

Only if by Europe you mean the lower reaches of the Portuguese league.
