Today (Tuesday) is the final day.
Monday scores: Doosan 3-4 Samsung Kia 3-4 Hyundai Lotte 7-3 Hanhwa
Hyundai are still top by one win then... could be another famous victory for the 'Special Sports City' of Suwon ;D

Game over in the Baseball regular season then:
Lotte 8:1 LG SK 3:7 Hyundai Doosan 7:0 Samsung Hanhwa 3:2 Kia
Hyundai win it then seeing as they won their final game and Samsung got horsed? Now for the play-offs and Korean series... whatever they are.
Baseball - it's just not cricket (and it's not very interesting)...

And to think, only few hundred generally turn up for their games! It's lunacy I tell you! They reckon homosexuality is a western problem but if they can only get crowds that small for talent like that then I won't be bending over to pick up my subway ticket any longer

Kia will play Doosan with Kia getting home field advantage.
They are in Gwangju while doosan play at Jamshil Stadium.
The winner will take on Samsung with Samsung having home field advantage. They play in Daegu.
And the winner of that will play Hyundai, who of course play in Suwon and they will get homefield advantage.
The final is called the "Korea Series".
As far as I am aware the away teams games in the Korea series will be played at Jamshil Stadium. It doesn't really matter though since so many of the baseball fans in Korea live in Seoul and get out and suppoirt their corporate team even if they were never even from that city.
I still remember goingto an LG v Samsung game in the Korea series and Samsung (Daegu) had more supporters there despite being the 'away' team. I'll try and see a Saturday game if I can but ruddy football on sundays and away games and friends weddings at Daejeon don't help much meaning my next two saturdays are stuffed!

Never been to a Korean basketball league game. Looks like I'll need to start investigating There are multiple reasons to join me for a few saturday night SBS Stars games in the gym next to the footie stadium. 1) we already know the first reason 2) it is in a nice warm gymnasium away from the lovely 'brisk' temperatures we know and love from a Korean winter. 3) there is beer 4) there are so many time outs it goes for 2 hours meaning that not only can you drink enough beers to be satisfied, but you also get to see reason 1 get plenty of action. 5) the stadium is generally three quarters empty so you can sit wherever the hell you like (except on the subs bench). 6) you get to see American men kicking Koreans arses as opposed to Brazilians for once 7) sometimes the basketball can almost be decent.
