Welcome to the domestic football thread. Just to kick things off, the second stage of the K-League is just around the corner - who's going to win the title?

Looks worryingly like Seongnam are coming back into form at the right time to scoop another undeserved title.
Will Pohang bother fielding much of a team in the second round since they already made the playoffs?
We can probably write-off Busan, Bucheon, Kwangju, Incheon and hopefully Seoul.
I'd see a last 4 of Seongnam, Pohang, Ulsan and Suwon with Seongnam sneaking the title thanks to 3 injury time penalties in a 3-2 win over Ulsan in the final.

Wouldn't count Cheonbuk out of the running, but given the bans handed down to players and coaches I think we can rule out Daejeon Seongnam have a lot of points to make up on both Cheonbuk and Ulsan (5 point gap already) if they're to get one of the best overall record slots... unless they win the section that is, which is not impossible given how they're knocking out results now. Hopefully FC Soulless will plummet down the table to join Busan Apartments at the bottom ( ;D ), and that will allow an Urumov-inspired Suwon to steam into the play-offs... assuming Cha deploys Urumov in his best position and not in any daft central midfield role where he's nae use. Mind you, Urumov's best position is usually on the bench next to the stash of soju...

Yup, I'd also be willing to put my money on Jeonbuk. Seongnam may have an all-star line-up but their player pool seems extremely dry for a longer season.

I've only seen Jeonbuk play once this season (first game v Incheon) and they were rubbish. Getting used to life without Magno and then Edmilson was injured and gone soon after so that obviously hurt them. I really don't care or know who will win except I hope it's not Suwon, Seould, Seongnam who win, and know it won't be Incheon, Bucheon, Gwangju, Daegu or Busan. So that leaves Jeonbuk, Chunnam, Ulsan, Pohang and Daejeon (who don't deserve to get near the title after their recent shenanigans. I'll go with Seongnam I guess with Pohang the losing finalists. Suwon coming their usual 3rd or 4th and Ulsan in the spot Suwon don't get.

Good news for Suwon... Mrs. Cha has seen the light and decided to start with Zoran Urumov tomorrow Nadson's been dumped to the bench again, probably on account of not having scored for nine games and looking more than a little bit uninterested in the past few games... wakey wakey min! The wee Aussie blokey's on the bench for Busan, and Seongnam are going with their two Brazilian boys up front which is a bit of a waste of time as they're playing Bucheon and it's destined to end up 0-0. On the Bucheon front, have they moved? Or have the K-league muppets (unsurprisingly) made a mistake on their website? This is the photo of Bucheon's home stadium on the site: Where's the roof?

Oh aye, apparently Ko Jong-soo's latest injury is tympanitis, or "inflammation of the lining membrane of the middle ear".
He was apparently spotted in Dong Suwon hospital, which probably makes a change from being spotted in Juliana nightclub...

Obviously from all that listening carefully to the advice of his coaches. ;D That stadium, by the way, is probably either supposed to be Mok-dong, where they used to play, or else a generic football ground from a clipart CD they found in a cardboard box in Hwanghak-dong flea market.

That same stadium is on the Seongnam section too... and they both have separate file names.
Ooops.
