What are they planning to do with the other 20,000 seats during game days then?

What are they planning to do with the other 20,000 seats during game days then? arrrgh you're a nasty b#gger SteveW!!!! I'll be filling one of their seats on saturday along with a few mates. We are going to do the 'double header' thing by then going to watch Suwon crumble to Chunnam at 7. You and HJ planning on doing that too still? It's my stag night K-League crawl. It'll end up back in Anyang to wtach Arsenal take on Fulham on the big screen at Rockssin.

Well, each to their own I suppose! Yeah the plan at the moment is for me and HJ to go to Seongnam get beer-ed up shout abuse at Cookie and Porterfield for 90 minutes then get down to Suwon for the real football/more beer. Its my last weekend in Seoul before I head off to Tokyo so it should be a pretty big one!!

I'll see ya there then.
We are going to taxi it down to Suwon unless theres a bloody fast, comfrotable and convenient bus going down to Suwon that leave right outside the stadium and has a toilet and bar on it.
Meet you at beer o'clock somewhere in the vicinity.
and I though Bundang and Seongnam were basically the same place? Isn't Bundang in Seongnam City?
Ah fupp knows.

HJ is in charge of all logistical planning for the trip. I don't think there is a bus nearby that goes direct to Suwon but we'll check it out. If not then subway to the end of the yellow line then a bus to Suwon is in the offing. Could taxi it but thats good beer money wasted. You going into the prawn sandwich seats at Suwon again??? Hmm....where can I get a FUPP YOU COOKIE banner made at short notice???

well the 20,000 taxi money split four ways will be offset if we sit down the away end at Suwon so we can save 3,000 each on the tickets. Can't believe it's 10,000 to sit on the sides of the pitch at Suwon for the casual fan who picks and chooses their games. No wonder the crowds are arse and they have to lie about them. This ain't a really wealthy nation, the league gets poorly supported and the country is in a big economic downtown. So we'll be near the Chunnam mob I imagine. I'll aslo take your idea from last time and buy all my beers from a family mart and wrap em in newspaper to keep them cold (works like a treat). ahhh the poverty stricken foreigner in Korea resorting to furnishing his house with sofas and coffee tables from the street rubbish.

As far as I can see, Bundang isn't yet a city as it's still a "Gu" of Seongnam... if it keeps expanding at its rapid rate of knots then it'll be a city soon enough, maybe. I'm not sure where the Bundang boundary ends though, but I'm pretty sure this park is within the Bundang area. I was there a couple of weeks ago with a few nieces/nephews, and it was notable for a big lake and a bungee jump platform that looks like the Finnieston crane (Glasgow landmark, for those of you not in the know ). Not sure where they'd put the stadium though, or whether the Bundang residents would be too happy at a big area of 'grass'land being concreted over for a fitba stadium. I think the closest subway station is Seohyun (Samsung Plaza) or Jeongja, but they're a good 10~15 minutes walk I'd imagine.

I think the 720-2 goes from Moran station to the Suwon stadium, but I'm not entirely sure. I know it definitely goes from Ori to Suwon as I've done that route a couple of times after work for Suwon games.
It takes around 40 minutes from Ori, and it's 15 minutes from Moran to Ori station by subway. Factor in the 5 minute walk from Seongnam stadium to Moran station and a 5 minute stop in at Lotteria to get something to settle the beery stomach then that leaves plenty of time to stock up on more beer for Suwon's glorious victory ;D
