He certainly appeared to make the most of the challenge in the game against Arsenal last night... but then he wouldn't have been the first player ever to have done that and he certainly won't be the last. Simple finish for the second on his 19th birthday, I believe. Wonder how he went out to celebrate that then?

Calling all fellow Evertonians' I think selling Rooney was the best decision ever.... We are no longer a struggling team with a big fish but a 'Team' and our position in the league confirms that.
I'm from England and i'm delighted to find some fellow supporters so far across the world.
Can you tell me how big the English premier league is in the Republic of Korea? and who are the big clubs being followed?
Anyway 25 million pound better off... and no big loss if you ask me, Moyes and the boys are doing fantastic! rooneys gone but the way we are playing we may play against him in the champions league next year!!!!! what you think anyone.

And you can still f*ck off coz he is never going to be for sale.' how about the great dixie being sold the year before he scored his record breaking 60 goals for a kings ransom? would you rather look in the record books and see an EVERTON player being the greatest centre forward of all time or a small footnote of how we managed to spend loads of money on a load of average international players? oh yes and finish a mighty fourth!!! thought so.

I think it's safe to say it was better to get rid of Rooney for a stackload of money than to have him for a season and risk losing him for nothing. And you know that was going to happen.
Anyways the Premiership is pretty big in Korea though a lot of people seem to prefer the Spanish league. I guess you can tell from my signature that I have a liking for Aston Villa.

Mikey - a good point well made.
...of course Rooney is missed by any sane blue...i think now we are all still just left in disbelief as to how it has all gone so horribly wrong?
As for the lad himself. well he' a thingy, plain and simple.
"In this great future, you cant forget your past" - as Bob Marley indeed once said.
Hmmm, not so it would seem for the 'Boy Wonder' (Copyright News International).
He showed such a lack of emotion upon his return to Goodison, some would even say it was even downright contempt.
Of course he was gonna get abuse, but so what?...but what better way to get his message accross that really he still is 'one of us', that really his move to Utd was engineered by the greedy EFC boardroom or the manipulative Paul Stretford, and that above all else his 'Once a Blue, Always A blue'....(however lost in translation that may have become, did still actually mean something). well f**k that it, it didnt - he doesnt give a f**k, showed no respect, no humilty, just his usual arrogance and igorance.
Which of course made him look all the more pathetic as he lapped up the false admiration from the scouse hating mancs. He's now nothing else but a distant memory and a twisted dream gone wrong.
No Rooney, No cry.

...oh and yeah, of course being 4th in the league does help take the pain away somewhat.
But even more so than that, something which gives us Blues further satisfaction is seeing yet another grown grown player come good and fufill all of our dreams wearing the Royal Blue and playing inside Goodison every week.
So please enough of this Rooney talk - step aside sellout, and let young Leon Osman basque in all our glory instead.
