despite having arrived after training was completed, Ahmad got to come in as a substitute in Australia's friendly game against Norway, replacing Brett Emerton. The news reports I've heard say he played well. this is a picture of him Scoring a goal against Solomon islands last month in a Confederations Cup qualifier.

Funnily enough, on pretty much the same day you mentioned "Elrich for the EPL" in the Busan-Suwon thread, a thread of the same title appeared on BigSoccer (Oceania board) suggesting exactly that. The poster said "he is going to try his luck out [in the Premiership] after finishing in January in Korea".
He arrived in July, and if he only signed a six-month contract then that would take him to January... so is he likely to be offski then? Or has he signed a longer deal?

he signed for a year and a half, so he's in the books for I'cons till the end of next season.... BUT..... If a really juicy offer comes, I don't see how the team could reject it, considering the precarious financial situation that Icon's finds itself in.

Chances are though, juicy offers are going to be in short supply if he's only got a year left on his deal.

Don't get too confident, because as soon as a team announces they're looking for a horrible horrible left back, you're going to have me to contend with as well.

Good lord, this is starting to get comical.
All the foreign players who speak English end up fleeing from the I'cons. Harry, Cureton, Hjelde, Marsden, Cooke, and now Elrich. Heck, even the last coach left. Is Tom Jones next?
I think Colombian wins the prize for being able to put up with the gaffer for the longest time.
Surely it can't just be the dry winter air that's driving everyone away from the club....
....but of course the supporters will look the other way, because Busan are in the Champions League next year. ;D

I think there's a direct connection between spoilt western footballers used to lovely lifestyles back home going off to play in the 'third world' and those leaving It seems that only people coming from poorer, scummier, dirtier places than Korea can handle living here. Whereas us English teachers...................
